Health Centre

Since its conception in April 2000, CANA Family Life has provided vital medical services to hundreds of residents of the poverty-stricken Mukuru slum. A staff of board-certified nurses, laboratory workers and pharmacists offers affordable, comprehensive healthcare to over 500,000 residents. Additionally, CANA social workers and local community volunteers work together to provide vital services to the slum residents, which include the Home Based Care Program, the Weekly Feeding Program, the Small Business Initiation Program and the Orphans and Widows Program.
